Q. What time can I arrive on Friday?
We are opening gates at 10am on Friday
Q. What alcohol can I bring with me into the campsite?
You can bring up to 12 cans of beer or cider, or 70cl of spirits or one litre of wine per person.
**Please be aware that you must decant any alcohol from glass bottles into plastic or can before entering the festival. Glass bottles are not allowed on site.**
Q. Is there an ATM on site?
Yes there is!
Q. Can I show my ticket on my phone to be scanned?
Yes you can, as long as your screen is clear and brightness on full
Q. Are there showers?
I’m afraid not, but there is plenty provision of fresh water around the site for you to use
Q. Can I park?
Yes there is a car park on site. Parking charges are €10 per car.
Q. Will there be public transport to site?
Yes there is, we have a dedicated shuttle bus running including taxi services.

Q. Can I bring a campervan or tow a caravan?
Yes you can! You just need to buy a campervan ticket.
Q. I’m bringing a campervan, can I plug in?
I’m afraid due to our insurance restrictions, we are not allowed to offer electricity points to campervans
Q. If I’m bringing a van where do I park it?
If you are camping you will be parking in the car parks. If you are living/staying in the van you will need a campervan pass
Q. What price is it for children 12 – 18?
A.12-18 yr olds are charged at full price but there is a family ticket for two teens and two adults available for €350
Q: Can I get tickets on the gate?
Yes tickets will be available from the box office at the gate.
Q. I have Saturday ticket, can I stay overnight?
You can indeed! Your Saturday ticket allows you access to the campsite as well as the main arena, however when the main arena opens on Sunday you will need to buy a Sunday ticket.
Q. I’m a neighbour, can I get a free ticket?
All residents who are within the affected perimeter of the festival have been contacted regarding tickets. If you have not been contacted then unfortunately you are not within the affected area. Thank you for your understanding.
Q. Will I get lucky?
You never know what may happen at Townlands Carnival 2018!
